As a matter of policy the firm gives preference to
Turks
& Caicos Islanders in matters employment. However, we are
generally interested to hear from attorneys and
paralegals
in other jurisdictions in working in
Providenciales,
and positions do occasionally become available.
Admission Requirements:
In order to be admitted to practice as an
attorney at law in the Turks & Caicos Islands an individual must have qualified in a
Commonwealth jurisdiction (i.e. England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Canada, etc.).
Non Turks & Caicos Islanders are required to have a minimum of 5 years
post-qualification experience outside the islands prior to admission.
Qualities Sought
The firm provides
services in complex and changeable areas of the law. A
significant portion of work undertaken involves atypical commercial
transactions, structuring and implementation which makes working with the
firm challenging and satisfying. The diversity of clients and
transactions demand highly developed communication, planning and
negotiating abilities of our attorneys and paralegals. The firm will receive and
consider employment applications and enquiries from lawyers and paralegals who are international in outlook,
competent and computer literate.
